Mgr Agnieszka Michalak

Agnieszka Michalak is a psychologist, a certified Social Skills Trainer (TUS) and a CBT psychotherapist in the course of a four-year training programme. She graduated in psychology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She is currently training at the Crescentia School of Psychotherapy, recommended by the Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (PTTPB).

She provides psychological consultations for teenagers aged 12 and over and adults. She has five years of experience in individual work with young people, gained in part through her work in education. This experience helps her understand the challenges teenagers face with learning, concentration and motivation, as well as with emotions, self-esteem, relationships and external pressure.

She supports people experiencing low mood, anxiety, chronic stress, low self-esteem, and difficulties in relationships, communication or setting boundaries. She also works with people facing crises and life changes, as well as difficulties related to adolescence, entering adulthood and growing up in dysfunctional or alcohol-affected families (DDA/DDD).

She completed a course on recognising developmental difficulties and mental health conditions in children and teenagers, including ADHD, autism spectrum conditions and depression. She is expanding her knowledge of anxiety disorders and sexual health.

During her studies, she received the Rector's Scholarship four times and was awarded the Dean's Award. Her approach is attentive, grounded in acceptance, current psychological knowledge and CBT. Consultations are available in Polish and English.
