Mgr Magdalena Konopińska

Magdalena Konopińska is a psychologist who graduated from SWPS University in Poznań. She is currently in the course of a four-year psychotherapy training programme at the Crescentia School of Psychotherapy, accredited by the Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (PTTPB).

She works with children, teenagers and adults. She supports clients experiencing emotional difficulties, low mood, anxiety, life crises and relationship difficulties. She also works with people dealing with overload, difficulty managing emotions, low self-esteem and challenges in everyday functioning. She has a particular interest in working with children and teenagers and in neurodiversity.

When working with younger clients, she looks not only at the difficulties they bring, but also at how the child functions at home, at school and among peers. She adapts the way she runs sessions to the age, capacities and individual needs of each client.

She develops her skills through training and conferences on crisis intervention, clinical work with children and teenagers, and neurodiversity. She gained experience during placements at the Dziekanka psychiatric hospital, through volunteering and through research internships on parenting and neurodiversity.

Her work rests on a secure relationship and attention to each client's individual needs. Together with the client she looks for ways to understand themselves better and to cope with the difficulties they are facing. She wants clients to feel at ease, to be heard and to talk about what matters to them.
