Mgr Julia Witkiewicz

Julia is a psychologist who supports children, teenagers and adults experiencing emotional difficulties, developmental challenges and life crises. She also works with parents, helping them understand their children's needs.

She graduated in psychology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She gained professional experience in Poland and France, where she worked in a hospital setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.

She develops her skills through training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), schema therapy and psychological work with children and teenagers. She selects methods according to the client's age and needs.

She works with children and teenagers experiencing emotional difficulties, anxiety disorders and challenges related to neurodiversity, including autism and ADHD. She also supports parents in understanding their child's needs and planning further diagnostic or therapeutic steps.

She also works with adults experiencing anxiety disorders, chronic stress, low mood and relationship difficulties. She provides psychological consultations for couples as well.

She offers home consultations in Poznań and the surrounding area. When meeting a child at home, she can observe how they function in familiar surroundings. Home visits are also available to pregnant and postpartum women and to people whose health or emotional difficulties make it hard to travel to the practice.

She draws on current research and tailors consultations to the individual client. Sessions are available in Polish, English and French: in person in Poznań, online or, by prior arrangement, at the client's home.
